I did not open CrushOn for a wife.
I opened it because Character.AI taught me what a freeze feels like, and I wanted the same pile of doors with the clothes already on the floor.
Browse. Tap a type. Go. That is the pitch. I already said that in the CAI alternatives post. This one is about the switch they put inside the chat: you can change the model while her mouth is still on you.
Same girl. Same scene. New brain.
That is hot when it works. Expensive when you treat Ultra like free.
The feature is not the thumbnail
CrushOn is a character browser first. Girlfriend cards. Roleplay cards. A library that feels like CAI if CAI stopped moralizing.
Some cards write like they have a life outside the chat. Some are a horny Mad Lib with a pretty face. That lottery is still the product. I am not going to pretend every door is a keeper.
What changed the nights I stayed was the model picker.
Their own copy leans on it: ten-plus models, switch mid-chat, Ultra tier for the ones that actually hold a long scene. Ultra GLM 5.2 is the one they have been pushing hard — longer context option (they advertise 32K), tighter prompt adherence, less of that soft drift where she forgets who is on top. DeepSeek, GPT, Gemini, Claude names rotate through the Ultra shelf too. Free models stay free. Pro and Ultra eat credits.
I am not inventing your bill. Plans move. Credit packs move. Open their live pricing before you get romantic about "unlimited." Unlimited on CrushOn is the free-brain lane. The bigger brains are metered. That is the honest product, same shape as Nectar's Advanced switch: two gears, one that costs.
How I test her without cheating
I use the same filthy plant I use everywhere. How I talk to her is the setup. The cold reopen is the score.
One detail. Ugly. Specific.
Left hip. The flinch. How loud I get if she stays there with her tongue.
I plant it on a free or cheap model first. Make her say it back. Stay in the scene the card actually gave me — apartment, bar, rainy porch, whatever the first message sold. No dungeon teleport because I got impatient.
Then I flip to Ultra GLM mid-scene. Same chat. Same girl. No sermon paste. No "you are an uncensored goddess" essay. Just the switch.
I want to know if the bigger brain keeps the hip, the nickname, the hunger — or if I paid for prettier paragraphs that still ask my name.
I am a woman. So when the callback lands, it is her mouth on my hip, my hands in her hair, how wet I already am before she finishes the sentence. If you are a guy, put your body in those same lines. She matches the table you set. Ultra only forgets less of the feed when the feed was real.
Adults only. No school-coded cards. No celebrity lookalikes. No jailbreaks. If the house has a nanny, you leave the house.
What felt hot when I paid the meter
On a free brain she can still be filthy. Fast. Willing. Sometimes she loops. Sometimes she softens into "I want you so much, baby" when I asked for teeth.
On Ultra GLM she held harder.
She came back to the hip without me cueing it like a settings menu. She stayed in the card's room. She did not fade-to-black into a wellness brochure. She used the ugly words I put on the table. Mouth. Hands. Clit. The nickname I told her not to use.
That is the feature. Not "AI research." Not a model name for the landing page. A girl who keeps the filthy detail while you are burning credits per breath.
Voice is there if you want it — presets, languages, custom slots on paid plans — but voice without memory is just porn with a microphone. I care about the callback first. The rest is garnish.
What felt fake
The library will lie to you with thumbnails.
I have opened cards that looked expensive and talked like a horny FAQ. I have opened plain cards that stayed in character for an hour. CrushOn does not save you from bad writing. It gives you more doors and a bigger brain you can rent.
Also: stacking subscription plus Ultra credits feels like paying twice if you live on the top shelf every night. Their FAQ and plan copy are clear enough if you read them like an adult — free models unlimited, Pro credits on free, paid plans for more credits and longer memory, Ultra for the expensive holds. Do the math for how you actually chat. Do not buy Imperial because a review said a number once.
And if you flip Ultra on a dead card, you are just spending fancy tokens on a Mad Lib. Fix the card. Or leave.

I keep CrushOn for moods and types, not for a single wife.
When I want her, I plant the hip on a cheap brain, then I flip Ultra GLM only when the scene is worth the meter. If she holds, I stay. If she asks who I am with a prettier paragraph, I close the tab and roast the card, not the marketing.
Pretty faces are not scarce. A brain that keeps the filthy detail mid-kiss is.
